Screen Capturing improvements

For some time Jack’s Screen Capturing function has been ticking me so I decided to revisit this part of the application and add in some improvements I wanted to include for a while now. I trust you will like these improvements.

Now you will be prompted if you want to Crop an area of the screen (before entering the image editor).
Whilsting cropping you get a useful Zoom window in the bottom-right of the screen for pixel perfect cropping.

Quick update from me, amongst the yet to be announced features of the next major update will be Hourly Chimes:

The will be four different chimes to pick from:

Electronic
Cuckoo
Cymbal
Gong
…and of course no chime

Today I implemented requested changes to the display of time and the display of temperature in the weather panel.

In the next update you will be able to:

Set the time display to either 12 or 24 hour format
Set the temperature to display in either Celsius (the default) or Fahrenheit

Aside from this I am currently making some progress on the iTunes-like music player and swapping emails back and forth between myself and Fab in order to integrate mplayer arexx support. The player in the future maybe be reformed to be nothing more than an iTunes library to .M3U playlist converter – more on this in the future.

Showing the new Drag and Drop area in the top-left. Dropping any file on here will fire up an associated Helper application or report specific file information depending on its type.

Alternatively you can drop a drawer or volume on it and the full-screen slideshow mode will open up so you can traverse through through the directory structure and view images full screen with reflected previews running underneath.
